Faqs
Will my photos be on the internet?
Not unless you say it’s okay! Every client I feature on my website has given me written permission to post her images. Privacy is very important to me. If you decide you don’t want them shared, that is completely fine. If you want to give permission, I’d LOVE to share them so other women can get an idea of what the experience looks and feels like.
How long will a boudoir session last?
Your photography session is approximately 90 minutes. If you add professional hair + makeup, plan for an additional 60–90 minutes beforehand, and about 2 hours later for your reveal + ordering consult.
FaqDo you offer hair/makeup services?
Optional professional hair + makeup is available for $200 if you’d like the full glam experience.
I don’t know how to pose. Will you be able to help?
I will coach you and instruct you on how to pose, and before you know it, you’ll be a Pro. I’ll even demonstrate the pose as needed.
I am not a model and have never done this. Is that a problem?
Over the years and hundreds of sessions, I have shot women of all ages, shapes, and sizes. No one comes in knowing how to pose, and everyone leaves with amazing pictures! Read some of the featured testimonials for examples of their experiences. You’ve hired me to make you look and feel the best you ever have, and I guarantee you’ll leave with a newfound confidence. Your only job: have fun and relax. I only ask that place your confidence in me. With amazing posing, lighting, and direction, you will love your portraits…
I need to lose 20 lbs before doing a boudoir shoot. Is that right?
If I had a penny for every time I’ve heard this! Boudoir is not about getting into an acceptable form. Boudoir is about celebrating YOU, regardless of your weight. You are beautiful whether you lose 20lbs or gain 20lbs. I can prove that to you!
What should I wear? I don’t have fancy lingerie suitable for boudoir.
I will be happy to make recommendations. You will even receive a Prep Guide once you book your session. But, ultimately, you’ll want to wear whatever you’re comfortable in, without being afraid of pushing the envelope a bit.
I have problem areas, do you photoshop?
Yes, but I do less editing than many boudoir photographers because I believe in showing the real you. I have never been a fan of pictures that make people look like plastic dolls. After hundreds of shoots, I’ve mastered the lighting and posing that is used to flatter your specific body type, no matter your curves or age.
I’m not sure what I want to order yet, can I decide when I see my photos?
Yes! After your shoot, you will come back to the studio to view your images and discuss product options over chocolate and wine. Once you decide on what you’d like to order (fine art album, luxury metallic wall print, etc.), it takes about two weeks to edit the images and another two weeks for them to arrive.
The price is a little over my budget right now. Do you have a price plan?
Absolutely – I don’t want the price to get in the way of indulging yourself. That’s why I have set up a Pay Later option for you through Paypal where you can choose a payment plan that works for your budget, either Pay in 4 or Pay Monthly.
